Volunteer Opportunities

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES, AND POINTS
As a small, friendly organization, Canmore Coho Swim Club relies heavily
on parent volunteers. It is fun being involved, and it keeps you connected with your child’s swim experiences. It also provides the club essential people hours needed to have a successful season.

The Club has a point system, allowing the volunteer jobs to be clearly defined and easily tracked.

The volunteer requirements are as follows:
1 swimmer – 14 points
2 swimmers – 17 points
3 swimmers – 20 points

To ensure that parents meet their commitment, we ask for a $350 bond – to be provided at the Family Orientation Night. This bond will be held to cover both your volunteer and fundraising commitments. Ultimately it is the responsibility of each parent (family) to fulfill their volunteer and fundraising commitments.

This season we will be trying an online volunteer registration process for most events. The volunteer opportunities will be posted on our club website www.canmorecoho.com and the members will be asked to fill their names in via an online form. It will be the responsibility of each parent to check the website and sign up as needed.
